Multi-award-winning comedian Sara Pascoe is to kick off a majoe UK tour of his latest show LadsLadsLads in Norwich, before also bringing it to King's Lynn.
LadsLadsLads is billed as the thinking person's stag/hen do and is Pascoe's most honest, heartfelt and personal show to date.
It was a smash hit at the Edinburgh Fringe before going on to complete a sell out run in London's West End.
Now the comedian is taking it on a 37 date UK tour starting at Norwich Theatre Royal on September 16, before returning to Norfolk for a date at King's Lynn Corn Exchange on November 10. Tickets will go on sale for both dates on February 1.
The show follows the huge success of her Animal tour, inspired by Sara's acclaimed book of the same name, published by Faber and Faber, which saw her perform sold-out dates at Norwich Playhouse.
Over the last decade, Pascoe has become of the most in-demand and hardest working stand-ups in the country. A decade ago she was a struggling actor. These days she's a panel show regular – on Mock the Week, QI, Have I Got News For You and more – and has hugely bumped up her acting CV with roles in The Thick of It, W1A and Twenty Twelve.
Last year was a big one for the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated comic, whose comedy has become increasingly intelligent, focused and politically engaged.
As well as the publication of Animal, Sara starred on Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief (making it to the Final); adapted Pride and Prejudice for the Nottingham Playhouse/York Theatre Royal; filmed a solo stand up special for TV.
She also hosted an episode of Live at the Apollo and appeared as a weekly guest on Frankie Boyle's New World Order. She is presently writing her second book, Sex Power Money and her forthcoming BBC Radio 4 series, Modern Monkey is out next month.
