Art fans have more time to enjoy one of the exhibitions at the Sainsbury Centre as the Norwich venue has extended the run of its art show focussing on the work of artist Rana Begum.

The show Rana Begum: Space Light Colour had been due to close this Sunday but it has now been extended until October 15.

Penelope Lucas, head of marketing and communications at the Sainsbury Centre, said: 'We were very lucky to secure this show and we are delighted to announce that it has been very successful and we have extended the run by a further two weeks. We have received a tremendous response from our audiences particularly schools. Events supporting the show have been sold out.'

Ms Begum's work blurs the boundaries between sculpture, painting and architecture, and her use of space, colour and form has transformed the Mezzanine Gallery at the Sainsbury Centre. For more about the show and opening times, visit www.scva.ac.uk
