General Information

Baby changing and breast feeding facilities

All disabled toilets have baby changing facilities. The block behind the grand ring contains a separate parent baby feeding room and toilet, the Medical Centre will also provide baby feeding facilities.

We also supply a special breast feeding and baby change unit to be found adjacent to the Medical Centre where mothers can breast feed in privacy, and parents will be able to bottle feed and nappy change in an adjoining room. There are facilities also for heating bottles.

Cash Machines

Two cash machines will be on site this year. One on Third Drive by the grandstands, and one beside the toilet block to the East of the grand ring.

Child tagging

This facility, run by the Lions Club International, will be provided free of charge at each entrance gate for dogs, children and adults. This service is also available for school parties but must be booked in advance. For further details, contact the show office 01603 731 966.

Dogs and doggy creche

Dogs are welcomed to the showground provided they are kept on leads but dogs are not allowed into public eating places.

The special "Harry Hall Doggy Creche" has been set up adjacent to the Dog Show, which will be run by the RSPCA where dogs can be left for a maximum of two hours.

Booking is essential as space is limited. Contact the Norwich RSPCA office 01603 766 001 or email jbond@rspcanorwich.org website.

Special bins are provided for dog litter. Members of the public with dogs, please note you will not be allowed to take them into the Dog Show area.

Grandstands

Free covered Grandstand seats are available for the public on the eastern side of the grand ring, and the light horse ring. Reserved seating is also available and these tickets can be purchased in advance through the show office or on the day from the grandstand ticket office situated on the eastern side of the grand ring behind the grandstands. Prices: �7 on both days. Tickets for reserved grand stand seating will only be valid until 4.30pm each day. After 4.30 pm, the seats will be available for anyone to use.

Pass Outs

Visitors may return to their cars at any time during the show by obtaining a pass out available at each entrance gate.

Catering

Public food catering

There are a number of catering food courts situated around the showground, promoting local produce and offering a range of food and drink, including beefburgers, hog roasts, fish and chips, seafood, baguettes, pasties, carvery, donuts, crepes, confectionery, ice cream, liquor bars and real ale.

St Walstan's dining hall

It is open to the public for breakfast, lunch and evening meals with a full bar facility. The choice ranges from English breakfast �5.50; two-course lunch �11 or salad bar �7. Meals available all day until 10pm.

Bar opening times - Tuesday and Wednesday 10am to 1am and Thursday 10am to 10pm.

The Flower & Garden Show Cafe

Open to the public from 9am to 7pm for snacks and light refreshments in the Cafe at the Gardeners Show.

Hotel School Public Restaurant

City College Hotel School will be running a public restaurant, sited at the northern end of the showground near the Countryside area.

They will be offering:

Morning coffee and pastries from 09.30am to 11am.

2 course lunch from noon to 2pm.

Afternoon tea from 3pm to 4.30pm.

On Wednesday, dinner from 7pm to 10pm at �35 per head. It includes canapes on arrival, choice of first course followed by Champagne jelly, choice of main course followed by desert and coffee.
