Review and Photo gallery: Razorlight at High Lodge, Thetford Forest
The 2012 series of Thetford Forest gigs kicked off in style last night with popular guitar band Razorlight.
Showing off their wide range of hits, the group produced a set packed full of old and new tunes which went down a storm with the crowd.
Although not a sell-out, what was the first of six concerts to be held in the heart of the woodland set the tone for what is to come.
With lights in the trees producing an ethereal effect, the forest was transformed into a temporary arena as family enjoyed a picnic before the band appeared and quickly got into the swing of things when they did.
Razorlight began by giving the crowd what they knew with catchy singles from their hit albums Up All Night, Razorlight and Slipway Fires.

But it was the run-away hit Golden Touch which got the crowd singing along and, despite a chilly evening, the rain held off as front man Johnny Borrell gave a polished performance, showing off his years of experience.
Moving on to slower tracks, including a cover of A Girl Like You, the crowd continued to join in singing and clapping along.

Overall, the evening was a mix of the popular classics that put Razorlight on the map back in 2004 and new material which the crowd appeared to welcome.
Folk/pop band Beth Jeans Houghton and the Hooves of Destiny also made a supporting appearance, showing off some outstanding vocals and a strong stage presence with hits from critically-acclaimed debut album Yes Truly, Cellophane Nose.
The line-up will continue with Plan B tonight and Will Young tomorrow, both of which have sold out.
Ed Sheeran will take up the mantle on July 12 (sold out), followed by Alfie Boe on July 13, and The Darkness on July 14.
