An award-winning international classical music duo will be performing at St Andrew's Church, Holt, on October 14, in the latest in a series of concerts hosted by north Norfolk children's arts organisation Falcon.
Cellist Svetlana Mochalova and pianist Slava Sidorenko will be playing the Rachmaninov Sonata, which they recently recorded for their debut CD, as well as inviting the audience to request music of their choice from an 'a la carte' menu ranging from pieces by Vivaldi and Beethoven, to Shostakovich.
Ms Mochalova, whose playing has been described in the New York Times as 'like listening to the future', has won a number of prestigious prizes, while Mr Sidorenko, who made his debut at London's Wigmore Hall, was awarded first prize in the Luzenko International Piano Competition, in Ukraine.
The concert will take place at St Andrew's Church, Holt, at 6.30pm on October 14. Entry is free.
