The legendary Horace Andy returns to the UEA in Norwich featuring on a heavyweight triple bill of dub and reggae, also including Mad Professor and Soothsayers.
Horace Andy's distinctive soulful voice has made him a respected Jamaican musical hero for over three decades, from his classic Seventies recordings up to his more recent collaborations with Massive Attack and the Dub Pistols. Here he will be performing with the Blood and Fire Soundsystem.
Mad Professor, who has worked with Lee Perry and remixed Massive Attack's Protection album will be presenting his Ariwa dub showcase, featuring Joe Ariwa, Kar Melody, Sista Audrey and others live on stage.
Completely the line-up are eight-piece band Soothsayers - a London-based collective blending pulsating afrobeat rhythms, dub reggae and urban jazz. Their new album features Faithless singer/MC Maxi Jazz. Mad Professor will be mixing the band live.
