Dan Snaith, aka Caribou, performs his blend of electronic music, fusing hopscotch melodies and filtered electronic sunshine at Norwich Arts Centre on Monday (8pm).
Previously known as Manitoba, Snaith's has influences as diverse as the spiritual free jazz of the early 70s, North American indie music of the 90s and a miasma of psychedelic rock.
Andorra, Caribou's latest and most emotive album, features the trademark wide-screen production married to a torrent of pop melodies which fall over one another as they leap out of the speakers.
Caribou's live incarnation, now a four-piece band features Ryan Smith (guitar/ keyboards/percussion), Andy Lloyd (bass/vocals), Brad Weber (drums) and Dan (vocals/guitar/drums).
Support comes from Born Ruffians.
