Crowds will be welcomed to the House of Fun on June 13 when Madness dig out their Baggy Trousers to take to the stage at the Norfolk Showground.

The pop/ska group are set to return to the county for one of three special open-air concerts to mark 30-years at the top of their genre.

Complete with the original band members comprising the ever-charismatic Suggs, Mike Barson (Monsieur Barso), Lee Thompson (Kix), Chris Foreman (Chrissy Boy), Daniel Woodgate (Woody), Mark Bedford (Bedders) and Carl Smyth (Chas Smash), this two-time Ivor Novello Award winning band secured their place in fame in the 1980s.

Their debut album One Step Beyond charted in the UK for 37 weeks, reaching the number two spot.

They went on to release a further seven albums, with their most recent - 2005's The Dangermen Sessions Vol.1. Their anticipated eighth album, The Liberty of Norton Folgate, is due for release this year.

There is also an award winning musical using Madness lyrics and music based on a book by Tim Firth.
