Ian Clarke The first event in the Holkham open air theatre season has sold out with tickets for Peter Pan flying out of the box office.The sell-out Peter Pan show on July 29 is the first of five summer productions in the Pottery Yard at Holkham and will be followed by Mad and Merry Monarchs on August 1, the classic favourite Alice's Adventures in Wonderland on August 16, the farce Charley's Aunt on August 22 and then ending with the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty on August 27.

The first event in the Holkham estate's open-air theatre season has sold out, with tickets for Peter Pan flying out of the box office.
The show next Tuesday is the first of five summer productions in the Pottery Yard at Holkham and will be followed by Mad and Merry Monarchs on August 1, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland on August 16, Charley's Aunt on August 22 and Sleeping Beauty on August 27.
Estate finance director Mike Wyard said: "We are thrilled that the open- air theatre is proving so popular."
