Thursdays are a real treat during the summer season at the Princess Theatre with this musical tribute to the magic of film.

The star of the show is Clive Abbot, the voice behind The Black Abbots, who is joined by Serena Giancomini and Matt Dineen, stars of the West End musical Buddy.

The cast also includes Suzanne David, who recently appeared as Cinderella opposite Julian Clary, and is clearly enjoying this new role. The singers are backed by the excellent Rainbow Orchestra.

The brainchild of Dave Dennison, this captivating show transports its audience through the magical world of the big screen with some of the greats, including Casablanca's As Time Goes By, My Heart Must Go On – the theme from Titanic – an enchanting rendition of Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany's, and an outstanding performance by Serena of I Will Always Love You, from The Bodyguard.

Over the Rainbow can seen every Thursday up to August 29, with 2.30 matinees and a 7.30 performance.
