Looking for ways to keep you out of the cold this weekend? Here are just some of the great events going on in our county.

From the genius that is Quentin Tarantino come Django Unchained (18). Set in 1858, two slave merchants, the Speck brothers meet a dentist called Dr King Schultz who is also a bounty hunter who kills the brother in order to free slave Django (Jamie Foxx) from the men. Django is the only person who can identify the murderous Brittle brothers, and agrees to help Schultz kill them. With other high profile stars such as Kerry Washington as Django's wife, and Leonardo DiCaprio as a plantation owner, this film promises some bravura sequences that only Tarantino can deliver with great style.

Get into the New Orleans groove on Sunday with Mardi Gras BB at The Apex in Bury St Edmunds. They promise a performance with Afro-Cuban fire, jazz, swing and blues to get the crowd dancing and swinging to the music. Now in their 20th year this experimental brass-caravan revisits 1940s New York with some of the beats from the time/ The performace starts at 8pm with tickets costing £16. To celebrate the life of Benjamin Britten, Norfolk and Norwich Chamber Music have a weekend of celebration at the John Innes Centre. The weekend entitled Britten Centenary: The Quartets, features his string quartets played by the Maggini Quartet, who will be performing these pieces of music on Both Saturday (7:30pm) and Sunday (11:30am) along with work from Mozart and Schubert. If you fancy a taste of the exoctic, then King's Lyn Corn Exchange is holding Around the World in 80 Dishes on Sunday 1:30 till 4pm. It will celebrate food from near and far, giving you the chance to expereince the diversity and expereices of food from other countries, with oppertunities to taste foods from Australia, Italy, Eastern Europe and China.
