It's that time of the week we all love, the weekend, but what are your plans? Here are just some of the events that are happening this weekend in Norfolk.

To distract the children for a few hours, why not take them to see Hotel Transylvania (U) at the cinema. You would think being set in a hotel full of monsters and run by Dracula would be anybody'worst nightmare. Instead it offers fun for all ages with the appearance of well-known monsters such as Frankenstein's monster, Murray the Mummy and The Invisible Man, voiced by many fantastic actors, all who have come to celebrate Dracula's daughter's birthday.

Ruby Sparks (15) is a film for the adults, following the romance between Calvin and Ruby, played by real life couple Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan. Calvin is a writer haunted by the woman of his dreams who is giving him writers block. To cure this he starts to write about this woman, who magically appears in his apartment in the form of Ruby. He then starts to mould Ruby into the perfect partner, which sounds like any man's dream, and promises a rom-com that appeals to both men and women.

If you love your music, particularly Jazz then singer Clare Teal will be one to see this weekend. She is one of the greatest Jazz voices in Britain and if that's not enough persuasion for you she has also been voted Jazz singer of the year twice, making the gig a must see. Clare will be playing as part of the Halesworth Arts Festival on Sunday at 7.30pm, tickets �19.50 from www.halesworthartsfestival.org.uk

On Sunday, the Imperial War Museum at Duxford hosts the Autumn Air Show, promising to be an event for lovers of planes, who those who love to see relics of the past. With the flying display starting at 1.30pm and many activities in and around the site, this event will keep the whole family entertained for the day. If you fancy staying indoors, then Holkham Hall offers a touch of sophistication with a concert from Andrei Bondarenko and Gary Matthewman.
