USO performed with Ella Eyre in Norwich at last year's BBC Radio One Big Weekend.

They will return to the county at the National Trust stately home, near Aylsham, on August 12, performing in front of an anticipated audience of 8,000.

Together with internationally-renowned Goldierocks, who has just become one of Capital FM's DJs, USO will bring top Ibiza anthems to life while a laser show lights up the night sky.

Stephen Hussey, USO founder, violinist, conductor and arranger, said: 'Blickling is perfect. Having that grand and wonderful house as the backdrop for a show is stunning, and the gardens are beautiful.'

A contemporary and versatile string ensemble, USO has worked for 20 years at the top of the UK music industry.

Oasis invited them to perform at their second album launch for (What's The Story) Morning Glory?

They did the same for Mariah Carey's Christmas party and were recently involved in the new Game of Thrones campaign where their string quartets entertained commuters, playing the Game of Thrones theme tune live on UK railway stations.

They have recorded and performed with artists including Annie Lennox, Jay-Z, Kylie Minogue, Mick Jagger, The Script, Take That, and Gabrielle.

Mr Hussey said: 'USO is made up of musicians that enjoy listening to and playing a wide range of music so they have a good understanding of 'swing' and 'groove' and, as a result, our shows have a great feel about them.'

The first half of the Blickling show will be more mellow and chilled out while audiences picnic.

During the interval, DJ Goldierocks will take over the stage, filling the air with the latest Ibiza tunes.

And as the sun goes down USO, backed by vocalists Jina Burrows, Izzy Chase and Maxamillion Barnes-Davy, will join Goldierocks on stage for the second half, guaranteed to have everyone on their feet.

Among a long playlist is Blackwater, by Octave One, which Mr Hussey thinks will go down especially well.

'It's one of those tracks that not everybody knows, but those that do, love it, and they get really excited to know that we played on the original recording.

'It sold over a million copies, and still gets played in clubs today – it's fair to say it's become a club classic,' he said.

? The gates open at 5.30pm. Bring your own picnic, or buy at one of the food outlets on site.
