British music star Olly Murs is the latest act to be announced for the Forest Live concert series in 2017.

The singer will be performing in Thetford Forest on Friday, June 30 as part of the Forestry Commission series.

2016 has been another incredible year for Olly which saw him release his fourth successive number one album, 24 Hrs, to become him The X Factor's most successful solo artist.

New single Years and Years is the album's centre piece, following radio favourites You Don't Know Love and Grow Up, which he recently performed on The X Factor.

Since shooting to fame in 2009 Olly has recorded four multi-platinum albums, produced four number one singles and has sold more than 10m records.

His performance at High Lodge in 2017 will follow on from a spring arena tour, which will see him play 23 venues.

Olly is the second act to announce his inclusion in the Forest Live summer programme after Rick Astley, who will perform at High Lodge on Saturday, July 1 supported by singer songwriter Rumer.
