A Norwich venue has been forced to cancel the Boxing Day performances of its Christmas show due to illness.

The Garage has teamed up with All-In Productions to present My First Panto: Little Red Riding Hood this festive season.

The show - which opened on December 1 and runs until December 29 - was due to be performed at 11.15am and 1.30pm on Boxing Day, but due to illness these two performances will now be rescheduled.

The Garage tweeted today from its @_TheGarage Twitter account: 'Due to illness both of today's performances of My First Panto: Little Red Riding Hood will not be going ahead. We are arranging alternative performances & will be in touch with ticket holders tomorrow to swap or refund tickets. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.'

The show - based on the classic fairy tale of what happens when Little Red Riding Hood heads into the forest to visit her grandma - has been created especially for children aged one to five-years-old.
