Audience members at Norwich Pops Orchestra's concert this weekend will be treated to a world premiere performance.

The concert at St Andrew's Hall on Saturday – called Classical Hall of Fame – will include the first performance of Classic FM presenter John Brunning's Guitar Concerto, which will be played by Craig Ogden. The concert will also feature what is being described as a 'foot-tapping romp through classical favourites', including Mozart's Marriage of Figaro Overture, Sibelius' Finlandia, and John Williams' music for the films Jurassic Park and ET.

Mark Sharp, musical director of Norwich Pops Orchestra, said: 'This is a great performance for the concert-goers of Norwich, packed with familiar tunes and also offering the chance to say 'I heard it first' on what promises to be a work that will be gracing Classic FM's top 100 list in the near future.'

The concert is at St Andrew's Hall on Saturday at 7.30pm. Tickets are available online at www.norwichpopsorchestra.co.uk or from Prelude Records on 01603 628319.
