Norwich comedian Dan McKee has finished as runner-up at the Bath Comedy Festival New Act competition.
The 32-year-old, from Old Catton, finished as runner-up out of nine people competing in the final and has now got more gigs in the West Country lined-up.
Mr Mckee, who also recently made it to the semi-finals of the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition, said: 'It was a really tough final, everyone was very good.
'Julia Chamberlain was one of the judges, she is the promoter for the Highlight comedy clubs and the So You Think You're Funny? competitions, and she gave me some very positive feedback.'
