Norwich-based band Adenland is set to perform at the Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival in Lancashire on Monday.
The band will share the stage with established blues stars at the four-day event which is expected to attract more than 20,000 people. Fourteen-year-old Aden Gerrens is Adenland's lead guitarist and vocalist, and he is thought to be the youngest person ever to appear at the festival. His dad Barry plays the bass guitar while Daniel Coyle is the band's drummer. They describe themselves as a cross between Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy and will be playing on the festival's British Stage at 5pm on Monday. Visit www.bluesfestival.co.uk
