As the countdown to Norfolk Day begins, one dedicated business is celebrating what makes the area so special.

While some restaurants are dishing up speciality Norfolk meals and shops are hosting vibrant events - we know for certain the locals will be enjoying the family-friendly fun on the day.

As hundreds of businesses jump on board to celebrate our great county, this well-known local business raised their glass to the ultimate Norfolk Day event.

Woodforde's Brewery are offering exclusive specials, entertainment and enjoyment to celebrate the dedicated day.

The iconic brew house has been crafting the perfect beer in the area for more than 30 years and jumped on the opportunity to sponsor the dedicated day to Norfolk.

Nestled in Woodbastwick, within the Broads since 1981, the local business are proudly on tap across England.

'We've been Norfolk's biggest brewer for a while,' said Judi-mae Alderton from Woodforde's Brewery. 'It's part of our history, our heritage - we get all our malt from North Norfolk.'

The business flaunt a hands-on approach to brewing, exploring the beauty of beer perched on the Norfolk Broads.

Despite the nationwide exposure, every beer is made for Norfolk locals.

'Our tried and tested brews are always made with you in mind.'

Ms Alderton added: 'There is a lot of nuances you learn from meeting people over the bar, even if they are on holiday from somewhere else in Norfolk,

'You just come here and you love it - people come here and want to stay a part of it, so let's celebrate how beautiful it is.'

On the day, Woodforde's Brewery will have a family-friendly fun day on the grounds of the Woodforde's Brewery.

With activities for adults and children, the event will host magic tricks, entertainment, and loads of opportunities to taste-test the various brews.

The Brewery will also be open for short tours and there will be an out-door barbecue in their garden at the Woodforde's Brewery in Woodbastwick.

Woodforde's unveiled their new beer in celebration of Norfolk Day at the Royal Norfolk Show.

The Break Birthday Brew will help promote the East Anglian children's charity, Break.

The pint, which has a 4.3pc alcohol content, celebrates Break's 50th anniversary and is available to buy from Woodfordes Brewery tap.
