A fireworks display at Seething Airfield that was postponed after a plane crash this month has been rescheduled for this week.

Media business director Ian Davies, 49, died when the light aircraft he was flying in collided with a crop spraying tractor at the airfield on October 29.

Following the crash, organisers of the Seething Firework Evening cancelled the event, which was due to take place three days later. They have now set a date for the event and have decided to give some of the proceeds to charity.

It will be held on Saturday, November 22. Gates open at 6pm with fireworks due to start at 7pm. As well as a bonfire there will be a barbecue and refreshments.

Proceeds will go to the East Anglian Air Ambulance and to Seething Village Hall.
