Norwich band The Neutrinos are set to play at Norwich Arts Centre's 30th anniversary show after playing in Toronto's prestigious three-day North By North East Festival in June.

The bluesy garage art-rock band is one of only five UK bands to be selected for the NXNE festival running from June 7 to 10. They will have no time for jet-lag as they head back to England to play a one-off performance at the Norwich Arts Centre on the 15th June.

They were named "Hot Band for 2007" by Total Guitar and picked out as "One To Watch" by Rhythm magazine. Ind-ustry newsletter CMU Daily selected them as pick of the day.

Their single, Girlfriend's Got A Gun, is released on June 29 and their album, One Way Kiss follows on July 30.

Neutrinos singer Karen Reilly said: "In the last year we've played more in Europe and the USA than here in the UK and we were planning to stay in North America for more dates after NXNE but how could we refuse when Norwich Arts Centre asked us to do their 30th anniversary show? NAC has always been hugely supportive to The Neutrinos and so many other bands and musicians."
