A compelling mix of mystery and memoir features in the latest production by north Norfolk-based fEAST Theatre.

Into Thin Air tells the tale of troubled Norfolk teenager Susan Kemp, who, in 1982, vanishes without trace.
Thirty-six years later, her brothers Peter and Melvin are still living in the shadow of their sister's disappearance.
Mr John said that when local people hear about the subject of the new play, they inevitably think of the tragic case of April Fabb, the Norfolk teenager who disappeared near Metton in 1969.
'I live in North Norfolk only a couple of miles from the place where April was last seen and have often thought about the awful long-term impact of her disappearance on her family,' he explained. 'But although the idea for the play might have in some way been triggered by this well-known case, my story and its characters are entirely fictional.'

The play, which will premiere at Sheringham Little Theatre, before going on a month-long tour of Norfolk and Suffolk, is described by fEAST as a compelling mystery, a tender family memoir and a 'sad comedy of ambiguous loss'.
It stars London-based actress Charlotte Price, who plays Susan, is directed by Mr John, and features fEAST regulars Dawn Finnerty, Robin McLoughlin and Owen Evans, of Nimmo Twins fame.

Co-director Ms Finnerty hoped the play would attract more young people, who will also have a chance to take part in a series of forum theatre workshops the company is offering to school and college students.
'Like many theatre-makers we would love to see more young people at our shows as under 20s are a hard-to-reach audience and we are determined to challenge that,' she said.
'We feel that Rob's story will appeal to younger people as well as our established audience and we hope that some of those who take part in the workshops will want to find out what happens next and so come and see the show.'
