Jamaican-American reggae fusion superstar Shaggy is set to perform a special concert in Norwich this June.

Mr. Lover Lover himself will be heading to the University of East Anglia on Thursday, June 15 for a concert presented by Geestar Empire at The Nick Rayns LCR.

The 48-year-old singer, real name Orville Richard Burrell, is best known for Boombastic hit singles such as Oh Carolina, Angel and It Wasn't Me, the later of which topped Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

He has also released 12 studio albums, winning a Grammy in 1996 for Best Reggae Album with Boombastic.

Tickets for Shaggy at the LCR go on sale Thursday, May 4 at 9am and will cost £25.

This announcement follows news that You Me At Six will be headlining the Sundown Festival 2017 and Two Door Cinema Club will be returning to Latitude as special guests this summer.
