Do you remember Dawn French doing her ballerina impressions? Well, Madame Galina (alias the very male Lestwyn Edwards) is in the same vein, but virtuosic and oh so camp!

We started with a kind of 'at home', where the comic let us into the secrets of his life, Hollywood star style. Dressed down in jeans and seated at the keyboard, he sung us acappella songs by his mad welsh aunts and regaled us with tales of his recent trip to Iraq, where the hard bitten marines called him 'treacle' .

But part two was where the evening had lift-off: entering in acres of tulle tutu, the comic pirouetted, leapt and skipped. Three poor victims found themselves auditioned for the warrior part in La Bayadere. Pas de chats were hopped and heroic poses struck, but it was David Crothers of Kulture Shock who won himself the honour of performing in the grand finale, catching and 'paddling' the master diva, as she flung herself about the stage to much applause. Bravo!
