Wombatwombat's Peel Day event, featuring Rory McVicar, Ill Ease, Wintermute and Little Red Box, comes to Norwich Arts Centre this Friday, October 12 (7.30pm).
A suitably eclectic bill to celebrate Peel Day is co-headlined by local singer/songwriter Rory McVicar who will be performing an exclusive track-by-track preview of his self-titled debut album plus Ill Ease, aka Elizabeth Sharp (from the US), a one-woman multi-instrumentalist playing layered, dancey noise grooves.
The line-up is completed by Leeds indie/pop band Wintermute and from Norwich, the Siouxsie-meets-Skin emotive vocals of Little Red Box (Maria, ex-the Incidentals), with her acoustic guitar and luscious backing tracks. Howlback Hum in the cafe/bar presents Alto 45, Mat Riviere, the Gore Vidals and more.
