The Tilting Sky presents the third and final gig in a series showcasing the best up-and-coming bands in the Norwich area at the Waterfront on Thursday, March 13 (7.30pm). Indie rockers Lot 55 headline the show with Next Big Thing IV winners the Kabeedies, the Fens and Rupert completing a very strong line-up.

Lot 55, who combine British and American influences to create their punchy yet melodic sound, have built a strong reputation and ever-growing following in the city over the past two years. They sold out Norwich Arts Centre for the second time in January, have supported indie legends Inspiral Carpets and the Bluetones, and this is their second time topping the bill at the Waterfront, following a successful headline date there last summer. The gig also marks the end of their first UK tour and comes following the release of their debut single My Time on All Sorted!?! Records on Monday.

The Kabeedies have been gaining national attention since winning the NBTIV title in November. Another band with a sold-out Arts Centre show behind them, the indie popsters recently recorded a session at the BBC's legendary Maida Vale studios and have been receiving airplay on both Radio One and BBC 6Music. Recent support slots with the Futureheads, the Metros and the Sugars have further enhanced their reputation and with a single due for release on cult Manchester indie label Cherryade Records next month, the Kabeedies are a name to look out for in 2008.

Completing the line-up are the Fens, who gain inspiration from pre-punk psychedelia movement of the 60s and 70s, with a large dose of 80s post-punk thrown in for good measure and Rupert, who play chaotic indie/crash/pop with dancing feet.
