A Norfolk singer's dreams of winning The X Factor have come to and end.

22-year-old Leon Mallett from Lingwood, near Acle, was eliminated from the show on Saturday, November 5 after coming last in the public vote.

As part of Louis Walsh's team, the young singer was initially sent home during the Judges' Houses stage of the competition, but was brought back as one of four wildcard contestants.

The performance put him in the bottom two, alongside group The Cutkelvins.

'It's been a great year, everyone is amazing. Thanks to the public for voting me back and letting me have that opportunity.'
