From Phill Jupitus to Lucy Porter, get set for a side-splitting weekend of comedy as Laugh in the Park returns for 2019.

Red Card Comedy Club will once again bring the funny festival to the big top tent in Chapelfield Gardens across four evenings from July 25 to 28.

The gates will open at 6pm each night, with a bar and street food stalls, and the show will start at 8pm with some of the biggest names in comedy taking to the stage.

These are the acts heading to Norwich this summer:

Thursday, July 25

Chris Ramsey

Star of The Chris Ramsey Show on Comedy Central, his high-energy delivery and off-the-cuff style have made Chris a stand-up and TV star.

The 32-year-old, who hails from South Shields, has also appeared on Virtually Famous, spin-off show I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp and he is a panel show regular.

Brennan Reece

Winner 'English Comedian of the Year' and Edinburgh Festival Best Newcomer nominee, Brennan is a hugely likeable rising talent.

Rob Deering

Not only is Rob the UK's foremost guitar-wielding, loop-layering, beat-box stand-up comedian, he is also a serious runner and presents a comedy podcast for Radio 6 Music.

Kiri Pritchard-McLean

Voted Best Club Comedian and Best Compere at the 2018 Chortle Awards, Kiri has been winning friends and fans in droves with her exuberantly funny comedy.

Lucy Porter

Lucy has been delighting comedy audiences with her distinctive, bouncy, feel-good comedy for many years.

An Edinburgh Festival favourite and regular guest on TV and Radio including Mock The Week, QI, Have I got News For You and Pointless.

Larry Dean

Crowned Scottish Comedian of the Year at the tender age of 23, this superbly funny young comic has since been nominated for both the Edinburgh Best Newcomer and Best Comedy Show.

John Robins

John Robins is a natural comic talent who last year completed a 68-date UK tour which included a sell-out performance at London's Hammersmith Apollo.

Phill Jupitus

Phill had a successful career as team captain on Never Mind The Buzzcocks from 1996 to 2015 and has appeared on just about every quiz show ever made on both TV and radio.

He has also appeared on stage in shows such as Hairspray in the role of Edna Turnblad and as King Arthur in Spamalot.

Phil Nichol

With a surreal edge to his mischievous rantings, Nichol has a record-setting six nominations for the Chortle Awards Club Comic award.
