The 13th Hunstanton Rotary Kite Fair and Car Rally, at the town's Smithdon High School this Sunday, will once again celebrate this ancient pastime.
Hoping for a breezy day, there's the chance to admire, fly and buy a wide selection of these colourful kites, which will range from the traditional to the ultra-modern and the classic-shaped to the just plain wacky.
Billed as 'the most colourful festival in East Anglia', it will also feature classic cars and motor cycles, a concour d'elegance, craft fair, trade stands, clowns, children's fairground, rocket display and traction engine rides.
The event will run from 9am-5pm - and family tickets include a free kite (subject to availability).
