The Hunstanton Rotary Club Kite Festival - now in its 11th year and taking place at Smithdon High School - will once again celebrate this ancient and pleasurable pastime this Sunday, August 19.
Look out for Brian Cantle's Texas-made kites with 110-feet tails, Team Adrenalize, Indian fighting kites and beautiful hand-painted rokkaku ones.
There'll be more than 200 classic cars on display, too, as well as motorcycles, crafts, stalls, food, children's fairground and more. Weather permitting, an aircraft from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will make a fly-past. Admission (adults £4, children £2, family £10)
