The Kerrang! Relentless Energy Drink Tour 2008 hits Norwich UEA on Thursday (7.30pm). Headlining the tour this year are New York progressive rockers Coheed and Cambria, in support of their new album No World for Tomorrow which entered the US Billboard charts at number six.

Since their official inception in 2001, the band have won over a huge fanbase with their progressive and conceptual music. The first single from the new album, Feathers, is released on February 18 in the UK and has already become a firm live favourite in the US where the band are coming to the end of a two-month tour.

Joining them on the tour will be Chicago pop punk scamps Madina Lake, twins Nathan and Matthew Leone, Dan Torelli and Mateo Camargo. Madina Lake's debut album From Them, Through Us has produced the hit singles House of Cards, Here I Stand and One Last Kiss. They have also played alongside the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Muse and Fall Out Boy and completed their first UK headline tour. The only Brits on the tour are Charlie Simpson's post hardcore/rock outfit Fightstar who will be taking the opportunity to show off new tracks from second album One Day Son This Will All Be Yours which was released in September. Opening each night are Philadelphia's Circa Survive who have been touring the US with giants such as My Chemical Romance and Billy Talent. They are ready to take the UK by storm with their album On Letting Go which has already hit the US Billboard Top 30.
