Kelis has pulled out a mini tour of UK clubs that was due to include a visit to Mercy in Norwich after falling out with her (former) management company over tour arrangements and promotion of the 'Kelis brand'.
Mercy manager Toby Middleton said: “This is a blow for us, but we understand that when dealing with such acts as Kelis brings the risk of cancellation.”
A statement on the Mercy website says that the night-time leisure industry is increasingly disappointed by management companies, claiming that 35pc of tours having been pulled in the past five years due to “personal and management difficulties”.
