Irish folk duo Hudson Taylor, comprised of brothers Harry and Alfie Hudson-Taylor, took to the Obelisk Arena at Latitude just before 2pm.
Having started their musical careers busking and posting their original material to their YouTube channel, it's great to see them performing to hundreds of people at one of the UK's most popular festivals.
Despite being the opening act, they delivered a solid performance, proving that it is possible for a heavily acoustic based act to dominate a main stage.
Their harmonies blended effortlessly, entwining with one another to create a sound that was almost dreamlike. Whether this was down to their brotherly intuition, or the fact that they are both quality musicians is completely irrelevant.
They performed a mix of songs off their album 'Singing For Strangers' and some brand new songs, treating Latitude Festival to an outstanding set which was only perfected by the clear blue skies and scorching sunshine.
