Cycling enthusiasts are counting down the days to an important sporting challenge held in the spectacular grounds of a Norfolk stately home.
Hundreds of people are expected to dust down their bicycles and take part in the annual Holkham Cycle Ride in aid of cancer charity Big C on Sunday, October 5.
Organisers say the challenge of using pedal power to raise funds to enable Big C to continue in its vital work of providing complete care to all of those in the community of Norfolk & Waveney, is extended to everybody, regardless of age or ability.
Riders can complete the six mile circuit in the grounds of Holkham Hall Estate near Fakenham as many times as they wish.
The event starts at 10am and continues until 4pm.
Pre-bookable bike hire can be arranged, refreshments are available, first aid cover will be on site. Bike repair services are also on hand should the need arise.
Entry is £5 per adult; £3 for those aged 16 & under, Family entry (up to a maximum of 4) is £13 and team entry is £4.00 per person (minimum of 4).
