The Herring Fair, running at the Blackfriars Road museum this Sunday from 10am-5pm, is full of family fun, from cookery demonstrations to talks, storytelling to family crafts.

Meet a giant six-foot relative of the herring from Florida, hear traditional sea music and more. And don't miss Rollo, the herring escapologist!

It's a great chance too to sample this award-winning family attraction, with its fascinating displays on the eventful history of the town, which is celebrating the 800th anniversary of its Charter this year.

Normal admission applies (adults £5, concs £4.25, adult in family group £4.25, young person £4.15), www.museums.norfolk.gov.uk
