Norfolk's former world heavyweight boxing champion Herbie Hide will be signing copies of his auto-biography, Nothing But Trouble: My Story, at the Lighthouse Caf�, in Market Gates shopping centre, Yarmouth, from 7pm on Wednesday.
Tickets for the event, costing �1 but redeemable against the price of the �17.99 hardback, have been selling fast, but there are still about 30 places available.
Hide said he was looking forward to meeting fans and was unapologetic about the controversial nature of his book, which criticises Norwich police, gives a scathing assessment of boxing promoter Frank Warren, and accuses Norwich people of "feeling much better when they can look down on you".
"The book's like I am in life. I don't pull any punches," he said.
