Norfolk's number one scare attraction returns for 2018 complete with five haunted mazes - Carnevil of Terror, Forest of Fear, Mayhem Manor Hotel, The Crypt and Arachnophobia. Dozens of live scare actors prowl around the attraction and there is a spine-tingling walk through the woods if you're brave enough. New for 2018 on November 2 and 3 for guests aged 18 and above there will be PrimEvil EXTREME which will be even more scary and will also include a firework display, the world's first augmented reality glasses horror experience called The Zombie Holomaze.

Produced by some of America's top Halloween Scare Attraction experts, LOCO Horror Train is the UK's first extreme live scare train experience.
The horror train will run for 10 nights of petrifying performance, with two to three trips each night, and will boast a scare crew and cast team of 70 over 20 miles of track. Expect surprises along the way as it won't be long before your scenic journey is interrupted.

Here's the latest news on the fifth Fine City Blues Festival in Norwich and Norfolk. This year the Festival features a variety of great blues artists and blues bands who will be making appearances in several Norwich city venues and Diss Corn Hall. Headlining is the internationally renowned blues diva Dana Gillespie who will be singing with The Dave Thomas Band at Norwich Arts Centre on Saturday, October 27. Norwich Science Festival returns this October half-term with nine days of fun-filled experiments, hands-on messy science, cutting-edge research, inspiring shows, and intriguing talks from scientists and celebrities. Explore our future world and discover how developments in science and technology will shape our future, and what we can do to help make it sustainable. New this year is a day dedicated to celebrating our oceans, seas and rivers – from aquatic wildlife to our responsibility to protect the marine environment. Plus free hands-on fun in The Forum's 'Explorium' looking at nature and wildlife, physics, astronomy and space, technology, engineering, chemistry, medicine and health and more. Norwich Science Festival is for all ages and all levels of knowledge, and is a partnership initiative coordinated by The Forum, working with organisations across the city, with headline sponsorship from Anglian Water.

Parents get ready to party as Big Fish Little Fish family rave returns to the city. The event, which has been running for five years, has a 'Sailing the Seven Seas' theme, and will include themed crafts, giant balloons, glitter cannons and the famous 'BFLF parachute dance'. Fancy dress is encouraged at the event and 'old-school' music will be played by DJ Nookie and DJ Trax and percussionist Paul Fistfunk Crowley will also perform. The rave is designed to appeal to parents from the post-rave generation who are now responsible for young children.

The first event will start at 11am and is a Family Jam Storytelling Hour. Artists, writers and Great Yarmouth locals share tales of family crisis, home, love and the food that brings them together. Food is provided by the GYROS community who support newcomers and migrant communities across Norfolk. From 2pm to 4pm there will also be a storytelling with food workshop open to 11 to 19 year olds. Get a taste for the art of storytelling, other cultures and traditions with Iranian born performer and writer Nazli Tabatabai-Khatambahksh. Make new friends, eat Persian cuisine and grow your storytelling skills.

Have the best day exploring the magical woodland, meeting the BeWILDerbats and seeing the spooky decorations in the park. But make sure you stay for dusk, that's when the real fun begins! BeWILDerwood will glow in a magical light extravaganza with the chance to see the woods in a whole new light as all the inhabitants come out of the darkness for the Glorious Glowing lantern parade.
