One of the most popular celebrations of seagoing traditions on the East Coast returns with a host of events for all the family on the weekend of September 11-12.
Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival will include vessels, music and crafts, with many of the heritage properties on or near the South Quay open.
Visiting vessels include The Grand Turk, the Lord Nelson, the Albatross and wherries Albion, Maude and White Moth with more still to be confirmed.
Heritage buildings open will include the Elizabethan House Museum, the Tolhouse, Town Hall, Norfolk Nelson Museum and the Port Authority building.
There'll be plenty of live music to keep the crowds entertained including the Mollyhawks, Wrentham Brass Band, the Monkeys, Pint and Dale, Capstan Full Strength and the local Gilbert and Sullivan Society.
Other events happening at the festival include East Anglia's Newfoundland Rescue Dogs, a maritime art exhibition, craft marquees, marine model boat exhibition, Punch and Judy, free local heritage walks, Lofty the Lighthouse and Horatio Herring, Royal Naval simulators and great sea food.
