It was all GoGo on the 10am train from Norwich to London as a rather unusual passenger hopped on board the Greater Anglia service to the capital.
The colourful sculpture Hare Comes The Sun made the trip to London's Liverpool Street station today to fly the flag for the GoGoHares charity art trail being brought to Norfolk by children's charity Break and Wild in Art later this month.
The trail is celebrating Break's 50th anniversary of supporting young people and families, and Hare Comes The Sun will be one of 50 GoGoHares designed by artists that will decorate Norwich from June 24 to September 8.
There will also be a second city trail of more than 160 leverets created by schools and community groups and a county-wide trail featuring 18 artist-designed moongazer hares.
Hare Comes The Sun - which will be on display at London's Liverpool Street station for the next week - features an array of images of our fine city and has been designed by artist Julia Allum.
The sculpture has been sponsored by Norwich BID which is also one of GoGoHares' five key supporting sponsors.
Stefan Gurney, Norwich BID's executive director, said: 'Summer 2018 in Norwich is all about hares ruling the city and creating a stir of interest through impressive and impactful art work.
'GoGoHares add to the growing vitality of Norwich and Hare Comes The Sun will be our ambassador in London in the run-up to the event.'
Jonathan Denby, head of corporate affairs for Greater Anglia which is also sponsoring the GoGoHare Bittern and Wherry, said: 'We're delighted to be able to take Hare Comes The Sun to London Liverpool Street on one of our trains to help promote the GoGoHares outdoor art trail.'
• Hare Comes The Sun and all of the other GoGoHares will be celebrated in a GoGoHares sticker book being created by the EDP and Evening News in partnership with Break and East of England Co-op.
The GoGoHares album will cost £5 but people who pre-order it before June 17 will save £1 and pay just £4. To pre-order, visit www.edp24.co.uk/hares or call 01603 772138.
