For this week's Gig of the Week I highlight Light Parades' upcoming performance at the The Waterfront Studio, tomorrow night from 7pm

Gig of the Week is a weekly guide to top gigs in and around Norwich. We want to hear what gigs you're looking forward to and any tips you would give to rookie gig-goers. If you have any top tips please leave it in the comment section below.

Light Parades, the four-piece band based in both Norwich and London will be down at Norwich's Waterfront Studio tomorrow playing an album launch gig for their debut album 'Through All Times'. After spending a year in wales writing and recording the album it is now finally out and already receiving a great reception.

Check out the official music video to the brilliant 'Sparkle'.

Prior to the gig, the band took a moment to answer some of my questions.

Hi guys, first of all thanks for taking the time to answer some our questions, could you please introduce yourselves and what you play in the band?

No worries, thank you for having us! We have Daniel Hopkinson, vocals, guitars and piano; Stephen Hopkinson, bass and backing vocals; Jakub Tucholski, guitars and piano; Ollie Pearce, drums/percussion and backing vocals.

For people who maybe haven't heard of you yet, can you describe what your sound is?

We're alternative/indie pop, it's got a hint of Elbow and early Coldplay, with melancholic undertones. There's lot's of piano in there, and hopefully some catchy vocal melodies too.

The debut album 'Through all times' was released only last week and already has been getting a great reception. How does it feel?

It's great to finally release the record, we've been working on it for around 18 months now, and to be getting such good reviews and so many people liking it, it's a really nice feeling. Makes it all worth while.

You're playing an album launch gig at The Waterfront on the 5th, due to the gig being quite significant is there added pressure to the performance?

To be honest no, not really. We're very confident and prepared for our live shows, and there's always the same desire to play well and give the audience something to remember, no matter how important or big the show is.
