From Jools Holland to James Bond to The Shires - music fans can enjoy a hat-trick of outdoor concerts at Taverham Hall, near Norwich, this weekend.

The three days of open air music events is being presented by Norwich-based promoters Outside Live.

Rhythm and blues maestro Jools Holland is set to kick off this weekend's hat-trick of concerts at Taverham Hall.

The legendary musician - who is well known for his exuberant performances including his annual Hootenanny broadcast on New Year's Eve and his television series Later...With Jools Holland - will be performing with his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra on Friday nightJuly 28.

The 20-piece orchestra will also welcome former Squeeze band drummer Gilson Lavis, guest vocalists Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall and Beth Rowley as well as recently announced special guest Chris Difford, also formerly of Squeeze and who recently performed with Jools Holland at Glastonbury.

Gates open for the Jools Holland concert at 6pm on Friday night.

Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra perform The Music of Bond

Having wowed the crowds with the John Williams Soundtrack Spectacular concert at Taverham Hall last summer, the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra is set to make a welcome return this Saturday night to perform The Music of Bond.

The evening will see the 70-piece orchestra and top class vocalists Mary Carewe and Graham Bickley celebrate more than 50 years of timeless James Bond classics such as Goldfinger, Casino Royale, From Russia With Love, Diamonds Are Forever and Skyfall. BBC Look East's Stewart White will host the 007-themed evening which will also feature a performance from classical singer Zaira Palumbo, from Sprowston, who has just completed her third year under the tutelage of Joan Rodgers CBE at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

Doors open at 6pm on Saturday.

The Shires

Country music act The Shires will be taking to the Taverham Hall stage on Sunday afternoon for the last of Outside Live's three concerts at the venue this weekend.

The duo - featuring singer-songwriters Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes - have previously played a headline set on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury.

Their debut album Brave became the first UK country act to chart in the UK Top 10. Their second album, My Universe, became the fastest-selling UK country album when it was released in October last year.

Joining them on the line-up on Sunday afternoon will be Norfolk-based bands Morganway and Sam Coe and The Long Shadows.

Gates for the concert open at 2pm on Sunday.
