The year is 1965, and Edie, a beautiful, wealthy party girl whose life changes forever when she heads to New York.
There she meets Andy Warhol, a hungry young artist who promises to make her the superstar she always wanted to be.
She takes her place at his side and explodes on to the scene at The Factory, Warhol's downtown loft.
Edie has the world at her feet, only to find herself slowly lose grip on reality.
