Electro duo Erasure - Andy Bell and Vince Clarke - bring their latest UK tour to UEA Students' Union LCR, Norwich, this Saturday night (7.30pm).
The two have had an astonishing chart career, Clarke setting up the project in the late Eighties after successful stunts with Depeche Mode, Yazoo and as the Assembly.
Originally he planned to use a range of singers - but after Andy Bell auditioned, he looked no further.
Since then the duo have scored 35 top 40 hits, including 17 top 10 entries.
Their latest album, 2007's Light at the End of the World, yielded two of those hits - I Could Fall in Love With You and Sunday Girl. Twenty years in and almost 20 million albums later, Erasure are still scoring critical and popular success.
