Elton John fans bombarded a phone hotline yesterday as tickets for his concert in Norwich went on sale to the general public.
Bookings were so great that more tickets had to be released to cope with demand.
The pop superstar announced the Carrow Road date as part of his world tour earlier this month, with Canaries supporters given first chance to book seats.

Concert promoter Ben Martin, of Marshall Arts, said: βIt is going well. Although I can't give any figures, I can say we released extra tickets.β
