Dutch electro trio in Norwich tonight
Dutch electro-breaks band Nobody Beats The Drum appear at the Queen Charlotte in Norwich tonight. The trio, using turntables, samples and live visuals, are on a short UK tour.
Dutch electro-breaks band Nobody Beats The Drum appear at the Queen Charlotte in Norwich tonight (Monday).
The trio -Sjam (turntables, samples), Jori (keyboards, samples), Rogier (live visuals) -are on a short UK tour that included major London clubbing nightclub Cargo on Friday.
Their debut album Beats Work was released last year and the band have been voted 'best electronic act' back home in Holland, having since gone on to play the country's biggest venues and festivals.
The video for their first single, Quit Your Job, was selected for the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival.
Support comes from one-man distorted electronica bands Sukoshi and Virus Child.
Doors 8pm, event to midnight.
