Howlback Hum presents a 10-band Norwich-meets-The-Netherlands spectacular at Norwich Arts Centre tonight (8pm-midnight).
Headlining the spectacular are femme fatale due the Suicidal Birds from The Netherlands, who, armed with tube amps, out-dated pedals, a drum machine, dirty bass, and distorted guitar, promise twisted, angry, dark, dangerous and wild blues-influenced songs.
Pony Pack, from Amsterdam draw on punk, post-punk, new-wave, psychedelia and grunge to create their own brand of scuzzy indie punk.
The night's Norwich contingent boasts duo My Visor with Kathryn Mac (vocals) and Keith Brown (guitar) playing new tracks from their forthcoming second album.
Think the vocal intensity of PJ Harvey with comparisons to the Duke Spirit and Led Zeppelin.
Meanwhile, Bearsuit spin-off the Cruiser Chimps have been championed by the likes of Steve Lamacq and Artrocker, and described by Drowned in Sound as 'demonic noise-rock overlords intent on teaching your ears who's boss'.
Completing the line up on the main stage, Donkey **** promise depraved psychedelic rock.
And Cakesandale, Hoofus, Frank, Rawandcooked, and Lilith will all take to the stage in the caf bar.
