West Mercia Police declined to confirm whether the Babyshambles frontman had been caught up in an anti-drugs operation launched after the band's concert in Shrewsbury last night.
Earlier, police disclosed that a man and a woman had been arrested for suspected possession of a class A drug. The woman was later released.
