A band described as “British rock's best kept secret” has been announced as the support act for Crowded House at Thetford Forest on Thursday July 10.

Delays are a “heady concoction of angelic harmonies, beat-group hauteur and groove-based hedonism” with influences of early Pink Floyd, The Smiths and The Stone Roses.

Their new album is called Everything's The Rush and fans will get a chance to see them at High Lodge before Crowded House take to the stage.

Crowded House - which reformed last year - has released its new album Time On Earth, which entered the UK charts at number three and includes the singles Don't Stop Now, She Called Up and Pour Le Monde.

During the '90s, Crowded House recorded classics such as Don't Dream It's Over and Four Seasons In One Day.

The gig will start the second half of the Thetford Forest summer line-up. McFly are there on July 11 and Katherine Jenkins on July 12.

Tickets £30 (subject to booking fee) are available from ticket hotline 01842 814612 or online.
