An international Noel Coward society in Norwich is holding its first local event since it was founded.

The General Office of the International Noel Coward Society, based in Hellesdon, has attracted more than 400 members worldwide from Tokyo to New York since it began in 1999.

But despite hosting numerous performances across the world during those five years, the group has never held an event locally.

On Saturday, it will present the West End hit show, An Evening with Sheridan Morley and Michael Law.

Morley, who was once a good friend of Coward's, will deliver jokes and anecdotes about the author and playwright, while pianist and singer, Law, will perform some of his work.

The show is at the Maddermarket Theatre in Norwich at 7.30pm.

Tickets at £10 can be booked by calling the Maddermarket on 01603 620917. The society is also organising a pre-theatre meal. To book, call John Knowles on 01603 486188.
