Comedy Store with Russell Kane

The ever-popular Comedy Store makes its return to The Forum in Millennium Plain, Norwich, on Wednesday with another feast of adults-only laughs from four leading stand-ups.

Russell Kane's meteoric rise up the comedy ladder is largely due to his turbo-charged, unhinged, self-loathing, dribbling and lethally twisted brand of humour that goes straight for the jugular. Ex-Southend goalkeeper Terry Alderton is no stranger to Norwich and is one of comedy's best-kept secrets, blending loose-limbed physical comedy, caricatures and impressions.

Circuit favourite Mick Ferry has a fine line in surrealism (with a satisfyingly hilarious cruel streak).

And Paul Tonkinson - who was Johnny Vaughan's replacement on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast - won 1997's Time Out Stand Up Comic of the Year and has a polished line in mimicry and improvisation. Doors open 8pm, with the comedy running from 9pm.
